Since joining Liverpool from RB Leipzig for £60 million in the summer, Szoboszlai has played in all 5 matches at the beginning of the season, making significant contributions with his abundant energy.

According to sports researcher Simon Brundish, Szoboszlai has become the second fastest player in Premier League history. Specifically, during the clash between Liverpool and Wolves, the Hungarian midfielder was recorded reaching a speed of 36.76 km/h in a sprint to retrieve the ball.
This statistic is remarkable for a player who is not primarily a winger (although he can play on the right flank when needed). For comparison, the current fastest player in the Premier League is Kyle Walker, the new captain of Manchester City, who reached a record speed of 37.3 km/h last year.
In the previous season, another Liverpool player, Darwin Nunez, ranked fifth in terms of speed with a sprint reaching 36.53 km/h.
