Liverpool return to action on Thursday night when they take on Toulouse in the Europa League.

The Reds have so far won all three of the Group E games they have played. Although, they will head into Thursday’s encounter on the back of a frustrating 1-1 Premier League draw with Luton Town on Sunday evening.

However, as the Reds prepare to return to action, talk of transfers remains, despite the fact that the winter window doesn’t open until January 1.

Fluminense now expects that an offer worth more than 35 million euros

Liverpool are one of three Premier League clubs reportedly interested in signing Andre Trindade from Fluminense.

According to Globo Esporte, via Sport Witness, the Reds, along with Arsenal and Fulham, are all interested in signing the midfielder. The report goes on to claim that Fluminense now expects that an offer worth over €35m will arrive in January.

As previously reported by the ECHO, Liverpool made contact with the Brazilian club in the summer, only to be informed that Fluminense had no intention of selling Andre midway through their domestic season.

Inter and Juventus are ready to fight for Thiago

Serie A giants Juventus and Inter Milan are reportedly both interested in signing Thiago Alcantara.

According to Spanish publication Fichajes, Inter and Juventus are ready to do battle for the midfielder’s signature. The 32-year-old has been plagued by a spate of fitness concerns since joining the Reds from Bayern Munich three years ago.

Thiago is yet to feature for Liverpool this season, and speaking on Friday morning, Klopp revealed the Spanish international is not set to return until the New Year.

Kalvin Phillips

Kalvin is in Klopp’s sights

Liverpool have reportedly joined Everton in the race to sign out-of-favour Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips.

The England international is likely to push for a move away from City after failing to land a starting place in Pep Guardiola’s side. The 27-year-old has made seven appearances for City in all competitions so far this season.

And according to talkSPORT, the Reds are involved in a four-way battle with Bayern Munich, Fulham and Newcastle United for the signature of Phillips.
