Alexis Mac Allister: “We showed spirit and determination”

On Liverpool’s homepage, midfielder Alexis Mac Allister expressed his happiness with what the whole team did in the match against Arsenal.

The Liverpool club won tickets to the FA quarter-finals this season after defeating Arsenal with a score of 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium.

Mac Allister played well before being replaced in the 59th minute.

“Like I said, it was a tough battle. In Knight 1 they played better and created more scoring opportunities but in Half 2 we defended very well and were able to finish be in the spirit of your decision.”

Mac Allister continued: “In the First Half we didn’t realize they were trying to press our whole team but in the Second Half we changed our close approach.

We passed the ball long to Darwin and Luis were at the back. That helped us solve the tougher problems and get the win on the table.”
