Recent reports from Ok Fichajes suggest that there’s a high likelihood that David De Gea will return to his homeland and join Real Betis Club. Real Betis is reportedly very keen to secure the services of the 32-year-old goalkeeper, and a deal could be finalized as soon as De Gea gives his approval.
At present, Coach Manuel Pellegrini has two goalkeepers at his disposal, Rui Silva and Claudio Bravo. However, Bravo, at 40, is getting on in years, and Rui Silva’s recent performances have been less than stellar, conceding 10 goals in the first five matches of the season. Consequently, Real Betis is eager to bring in a higher-quality goalkeeper to bolster their defense.
